Obituary for Everett F. Heer

Everett F. Heer Died on 11/16/18 in Surprise, AZ at age 89.
Born on 8/19/29 in New York, NY he grew up in Yonkers, NY and after being married lived in Port Chester, NY, Brockton, MA and again in Port Chester, NY. Upon retirement in 1991, moved to Franklin, NC and then in 2002 settled in Surprise, AZ.
Everett worked at the YMCA for over 20 years and then made a career change to work at the West Point Military Academy as a civilian employee. He worked there until his retirement.
He had a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Springfield College in Springfield, MA.
Between college degrees Everett served in the US Army in Korea. He was awarded the Korean Service Medal w/2 Bronze Service Stars and a United Nations Service Medal.
He is survived by his wife Marjorie B Heer, his son Gordon B Heer Two Grand Children; Marissa Jane Lyman and Jared Michael Treanor and one great granddaughter Harper Ann Lyman. He was pre deceased by his daughter, Sheryl Ann Treanor.
There will be a Memorial service on Wednesday November 28th, 2018 at New Song United Methodist Church in Surprise AZ at 11 am.
