It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Marcello P. LaRosa aka “Chuck”. Chuck is survived by his life partner, Dorothy Donohue. Chuck was born September 22, 1936 in Bronx, NY to the late Frank and Nancy LaRosa. He worked for the city of NY as a Tax Assessor for 30 years. He retired after working on Wall St. When he retired, he moved to Cold Springs, NY right across from West Point. The people in the neighborhood knew him as the “walker” as that was his favorite pastime. Chuck and Dorothy met through a friend and spent nineteen happy years together. They retired in Surprise in 2003. He still loved to walk and could be seen walking the loop often. He played and Hand & Foot, volunteered for many organizations, and actively helped Veterans. He was an avid putter until his health changed.
Family and friends are invited to a Mass at St. Claire’s Catholic Church on December 5th at 10:30AM followed by lunch served there.
