Catherine (Cathy) E. Churray, 75, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at home in Sun City West, AZ.  Born on April 1, 1945 to the late Albert  and Laura (Baxter) Warner in Liberty, Kentucky.  Her family moved to Bellmore, NY at age 5 where she graduated from Wellington C Mepham HS. She continued her formal education at Macomb County Community College (Michigan).

On July 16, 1966 she married Edward J. Churray at St Barnabas RC Church in Bellmore, NY.  They moved to the southeast Michigan area in 1968 where they spent 38 years before retiring to Sun City West, AZ in 2006.

Cathy worked as a Travel Agent and specialized in Alaskan travel. 

She enjoyed travel of all kinds and loved cruising to the Caribbean, Europe, Australia/New Zealand as well as Alaska, Hawai’i and Mexico.  She was especially proud of visiting all 50 US states.

Cathy is survived by her loving spouse of almost 55 years, Edward; their daughter, Jennifer Lyn Robideau (Nicholas); 3 grandsons, Tyler Robideau, Jake Robideau and Ian Churray.

 
She was preceded in death by their son Keith Edward Churray (Jennifer) as well as 5 older brothers.

She will be cremated.  Planning for any type of memorial service will be delayed at this time.
