PEORIA – Donald C Morgan 85, passed March 22, 2021. He was born in Akron, Ohio April 11, 1935. Son of Alva
(Al) and Ruby Morgan.
Don graduated from Miami OK high school, went to NE Oklahoma, A&M Junior College, University of Oklahoma
and Arizona State University. He studied Construction Management & Job Cost Containment. Home Design along with
Advanced Real Estate.
Don worked for Humble Oil/Ennco/Exxon/Atlas Tire until 1972 as a Marketing Director.
Married and moved from Dallas, TX back to Miami where he built his first home started by his dad, Al Morgan.
1972-74, Moved back to Longview TX 1975, started as a Commercial Superintendent. Don then built his first large house where

Don was affiliated with East TX Builders Assoc 1972-1985 - President 1981, Home Owners Warranty 1978-1985 - President
1978-79-80, TX Association of Builders 1972-1987 - President 1985, NAHB Life Director 10 years, Kowalski Construction
Phoenix, AZ 1995-2003 - Customer Service Manager.
Don received the Texas Builder of the Year Award 1980

In addition to his parents, Dons sister, Judy Huddleston, passed 2 days after Don. March 24, 2021. Don is survived by wife,
June Morgan, daughters Tonya Giessmann, of Tulsa, OK; Tami Webb, of Texas; Molly Richardson, of Texas; son, Donald
Curtis Morgan Jr, (Marcy) of Nevada; Chester (Chuck Hunt), William Jeffry Hunt, John Robert Hunt of Texas.
Greg Giessmann, Brett Eaton, Jarrod Webb, Donald Curtis Morgan III,
Brooke Morgan, Alexis Anderson, Madison Hunt, Tanner Hunt, Ethan Barbian,
Chloe Hunt; two great grandchildren and Nephew Scott Huddleston.
Celebration of Life will be held at Cross Church April 11, 2021 (Dons Birthday), 2 p.m. 17475 W Bell Road Surprise, AZ.
