On Monday, April 19, 2021, Samir Elsouso, loving husband and father of two, passed away at the age of 79 in his home. Samir was born on January 27, 1942 in Ramleh, Israel to Anis and Alice (Bayouk) Elsouso. He was the youngest male of 7 children (four boys and three girls): Mitri,Nicola,Peter,Salwa,Laila, and Nouha. He began to develop his jewelry skills at the age of 16 in a manufacturing shop at Tel-Aviv, Israel. In November of 1967 he married his “Promised” love of 10 years Dalal Elsouso. They raised two sons, Charlie and Eddie which followed in his path as established jewelers. In November of 1977, he was given the opportunity to move to Chicago and work for a jewelry manufacturer. Samir loved his trade but also took pride in cooking for his family and serving his infamous tea. In August of 1987, he founded Sam and Sons Jewelers and quickly established himself as a trusted individual as well as a talent to confide in for the communities jewelry needs. His Legacy will be carried on through numerous products which he whole heartedly created and skills for future production passed down to his family.
He is a man loved by many and survived by his wife Dalal, son Charlie (wife Jennifer), son Eddie (wife Sheri), grandkids Jenna, Julia, Jillian, Amelia and Samuel.
